Annual Graduate School and Career Exploration Event

Have you been thinking about how you will connect your history major with your life and career after graduation from Messiah? Then this event is for you! Each year the Department of History invites alumni back to speak with current students about different graduate school and/or career paths they have pursued after their days at Messiah, and this year’s focus is on graduate school doctoral programs in history. Lucy Barnhouse, 2008 graduate and Ph.D. candidate in Medieval history at Fordham University, and Kelly Knight, 2007 graduate and Ph.D. candidate in 19th-century American history at Penn State University will join together to share with you the possibilities and realities of professional education at the doctoral level and of career prospects upon graduation. THIS EVENT WILL TAKE PLACE ON TUESDAY 4 OCTOBER BEGINNING AT 4:15 IN BOYER HALL 235. Please plan to attend and spread the word to your friends and fellow history majors! If you have any questions just talk with one of the history professors, and we hope to see you there!
