The Central Pennsylvania Regional History Day is a Messiah College History Department tradition.
This year, History Day is Saturday, March 3. All Messiah College history majors, first-year students through seniors– are encouraged to serve as judges. Many of you have already signed up to judge, but many of you have not. This is a great opportunity to serve the department, serve the community and build your resumes. Each year we have dozens of Messiah college history majors and alumni join us as judges. It is also a great way to network with alumni and other people from the larger historical community who come to campus to judge. It requires a commitment from roughly 8am to about 2pm, although we are always looking for judges to stay until 3:00 to help us read of the winners during the awards assembly. No former judging experience is required. If you are new, you will be teamed with an experienced judges.
I hope you will consider joining us on March 3rd. If you are interested, please contact Gina Hale at email@example.com
