Opportunity to Attend a Conference on Christian Student Leadership in Washington D.C.

I just received this e-mail from Galen Carey, the VP for Government Relations at the National Association of Evangelicals in Washington D.C.  This sounds like a great opportunity.  Let me know if you are interested.  –Prof. Fea

Do you have students at Messiah who are considering a career in government or public policy?  If so the NAE offers a wonderful resource, the Christian Student Leadership Conference, held January 14-18 in Washington DC (the week before the inauguration).  Students interact with Members of Congress, the administration, and public policy experts in a number of areas.  This year’s theme is “Defining Our Future:  Agenda for the Next Administration.”

The NAE has been conducting this conference every year since 1956.  Past alumni have gone on to serve in the House, Senate, and foreign service, among other arenas.

You will find conference details at http://www.nae.net/government-relations/cslc.   The registration deadline is November 19.  Since Messiah has not sent students to the conference in the past five years, you are eligible for two $100 scholarships for the first two students who register.

If you have any questions about the conference, please let me know.

  1. Though I am not a student anymore, does he have any offer for recent graduates? If he does, I would be interested
