War may be beautiful on the historian’s page, and through the idealization of time and distance, but to the spectator or the actor it is divested of its charms, and becomes a reign of horrors and a civilized monstrosity. And yet it has its fascinations, as murder, journalism and the stage have theirs. – Junius Browne, war correspondent for the New York Herald, as he walked among the battlefield dead the day after the battle of Antietam. (from Civil War Times, February 2013, p.60)

This event is open to everyone at no charge with a suggested donation of $10 each or $20 per family. Donors will be entered into the drawing for door prizes. Free parking!

Sponsored by Good News Jail & Prison Ministry at York County Prison. All proceeds benefit York County Prison Chaplaincy.
