This just came across my computer screen:
U.S. History Scene is currently accepting applications for the Summer 2013 Internship Program.
We are seeking experienced writers and editors at both the undergraduate and graduate level with a strong academic record in the humanities and social sciences to work with our Editorial Board. If you love history, are creative, energetic, motivated, and detail-oriented, we’d love to have you be a part of our growing corporation.
Interns in the writing, editing, and research track will be responsible for writing articles and working with the Editorial Board to produce new and innovative content. Interns in the public relations track will work on a national campaign focused on curriculum development and history education outreach.
Interns will be allowed to telecommute from their home university, but we are also looking to place interns in the office in Boston, Massachusetts; Dubuque, Iowa; and Orange County, California. All internships are currently unpaid but can be taken for school credit or stipend.
Please e-mail your resume/ CV, an unofficial transcript, and an expository writing sample (preferably showing your research capabilities) to Editors@USHistoryScene.com with the subject line “Internship Summer 2012.”
Check out the U.S. History Scene website for more information.
