Lucy Barnhouse (MC History, ’08) Wins Fulbright!

The History Department has just learned that Lucy Barnhouse (Messiah College History, Class of 2008)  has been awarded one (of the very few) Fulbright Research Fellowships for her graduate archival research in Germany for next academic year.   Lucy is studying Medieval History at Fordham University in New York City.  Some of you may remember her visit to campus a couple of years ago to talk with students about life in graduate school.

Fulbright Research Fellowships are extremely competitive  and are funded by both the German and the US governments.  This is a MAJOR accomplishment for Lucy and it is a testament to the good work that our former majors are doing in the field.  Congratulations!
