Next Tuesday, Dr. Fea will present two lectures on the theme of religion in America. The first will be chapel on Tuesday, Feb. 25, at 9:30 AM.
In the evening, he will present a lecture and alternate chapel titled “The Complex Connections between Christianity and the American Nation” at 7:30 pm in Parmer Hall (in the Calvin and Janet High Center for Worship and Performing Arts). The evening lecture is the annual Messiah College Religion and Society Lecture. Past presenters have included such notable individuals, intellectuals, and scholars as Jimmy Carter, Martin Marty, James Cone, Nancy Ammerman, Monica Hellwig, Miroslav Volf, Stanley Hauerwaus, Neil Postman, Emmanuel Katongole, and Stephen Prothero.
All history majors and friends are invited to attend both of these events.
