National History Day Wrap-Up

Once again, the Messiah College History Department hosted a regional round of the National History Day competition.  On Saturday we had 100s of high school and middle school kids on campus competing for a spot in the Pennsylvania state competition at Millersville University and perhaps a shot at the National History Day in College Park, Maryland.

Thanks to all the students, alumni, and friends of the Messiah College History Department who volunteered their time as judges during Saturday’s National History Day competition.  We appreciate your time and your support of history at Messiah and in the region!  It was a great day.  Special thanks to Jim LaGrand, Christine Walter, and Rachel Carey who carried the load in preparation for this annual event.

Kelly Henderson, Katy Kaslow, Kyle Polinka, and Rachel Carey, all members of the Messiah College History sophomore class, served as History Day judges.
