Calling all Messiah College humanities students: the Digital Harrisburg Initiative is looking for a student to join their team as a researcher and website developer for the 2019-2020 academic year.
To apply, students can fill out an application online along with a resume.
In 2019-2020, their efforts will focus on rolling out the Commonwealth Monument Project, a grass-roots collaborative initiative in Harrisburg that aims to tell the stories of Harrisburg’s lost community of the Old Eighth Ward; develop websites designed to reach state employees; host monthly community conversations about African-American history in Pennsylvania; and dedicate a new inscription and monument to Harrisburg’s African-American citizens on state capitol grounds.
